KeyCite/Analysis is a citation service available on Westlaw Australia that you can use to determine whether a selected case or statute is good law and to retrieve citing references. KeyCite provides information such as: direct appellate and negative indirect history of a case, citations to cases and other sources, citations to bills amending or repealing a statute, and citations to pending legislation.

Easy Navigation
The Table of Contents (TOC) service provides a table of contents for Australian Acts enabling you at any time to view a document in the context of the sections surrounding it and to retrieve related sections. By using this unique feature, Westlaw Australia enables you to move quickly and easily within the framework of an Australian Act without losing your way.

Convenient Print and Email Options
When you find your results, you can decide whether you want to print the current document, all documents, selected documents, or just the result list.

You also have a variety of options when it comes to printing your document(s). You can choose to either print to an attached printer, email document(s) to yourself or someone else, download document(s) to a word processor or, save your search result on the Westlaw Australia service for you to 30 days. You will always retain original formatting whether you decide to print, email, download, or save.

Stay up-to-date with custom alerts
Use the Westlaw Australia WestClip alert service to track legal, business, and news developments. WestClip works by running your search query over a time specified by you, to a location specified by you. Flexible options also enable you to choose the format, rank order, limits, and comments in your search entry.

For example, you can track a client's coverage in Australian newspapers, Australian courts, or regulator releases and choose to have your alerts arrive in your email inbox on a daily basis.

Keep track of your research
Research Trail makes it easy for you to keep track of your research and return to previous work. Each time you log on to Westlaw Australia, your research trails are tracked against your password and saved for the last 14 days.

Each Research Trail collected contains information about the tasks that you have completed including citations of the documents and retrieved, and the Westlaw Australia services you used.

ChargeBack
ChargeBack is the online Westlaw Australia billing system that has been designed to assist you with the management of passwords and the tracking of Westlaw usage.

ChargeBack enables you to see what research is being conducted and by whom, and the charges associated with that research. ChargeBack assists you with administration costs and internal record keeping by providing a detailed listing of usage converted to local currency, and identifies usage to a particular transaction.
